I've installed Left 4 dead 2 on my new laptop and it runs really smoothly at around 60fps on maxed out graphics, much to my surprise. Does anyone fancy playing a few games today? I'm also thinking of doing a co-op let's play of some custom maps if anyone would be interested.

Yeah I've given it a test run and it's a great campaign. We should definitely do a playthrough of it.

Pros:
beautifully designed environments.
Some unique moments such as escaping on a cable car.
Nice range of urban/rural maps.
Quite difficult but not overly hard.
Each map is pretty extensive (I think there's 4 in total)

Cons:
Distinct lack of katanas.
Can get quite laggy at certain points, especially outside in the city. (mostly runs quite smoothly though)
The ending is a bit anti-climactic.
It can be a bit confusing knowing where to go.
