Done a few matches of this, and its a lot of fun though it takes a bit to get used to the controls.
Hope whoever is trying to get on gets on, though there's no team play as of yet so we may not see each other often... or on the same side!
The control system really needs a bit of work, it feels like something bastardized from Space Sims like the X games and freelancer
Game pad feels ok but is nowhere near precise enough for dogfighting and Keyboard mouse feels like your playing while drunk lol

Yup, been in a couple weeks. I actually really like it, solely because it's really damn close to actually flying a plane. As in...it's a fucking pain xD

Played again for a bit, still freaking annoyed with the Mouse crap, think they are trying to simulate the whole joystick with the space sim like mouse movement, but it just ends up feeling mushy and slugish

It's meant to be slugish. No plane handles like they do in modern games. Not even a pristine fighter jet.

Yes and its an effect that you only really get in mouse mode, and its exasperated by the fact that the mouse has free fullscreen movement.
That said it could be because the plane doesn't steer like one, you move the mouse to the left you expect the plane to roll, but it really doesn't, the aircraft turns but the screen doesn't quite follow it so the roll become a turn maneuver.
Like i posted earlier, using a control feel good but lacks a little in the fine handling needed to dogfight...great for bombing though.
I guess ill try it again and mess around with the sensitivity and see if i can get it right, gonna have to redo a lot of buttons so I can fly the aircraft without accidentally shutting off the engines lol
May change it around a bit till i get a mix of the Analogues and buttons i like.
God i wish i still had my freaking Joystick.... it even had realistic throttle control and a track headset.
I sold it a few years ago after i got bored and needed some money lol
That said wish i had a set up like this... tis crazy!

In a real airplane, when you "turn" (bank) to the left, for example...the plane will turn left. I don't know why you need to pull up in games. In real life, you don't. The fact that one wing is higher than the other causes the plane to turn in the direction of the lower wing automatically, only furthered by the fact that the pilot automatically hits the same rudder pedal, just to quicken the turn (It's not necessary).
So, in actuality, the controls are pretty damn good. Sluggish is good. Prevents stupid habits people get in modern flight sims and shooters with planes in 'em. Turns when move the mouse is good. Cause that's what happens. Plus, the plane jitters when it flies. Which actually happens. Prevents people from being too accurate.
