Hello, I'm Hybridesque. I'm a sim racer normally but I got into LPing through watching Magemasher22's channel on Youtube. I've started off doing LPs of Crysis (fail-tastic!) and Assassin's Creed. I'm a PC gamer btw.
Search for Hybridesque on Google, you'll find me. I also do a fair bit of photography too.

Go PC gaming! WOO! Also, I watched one of your videos. Mind if I give a few pointers? I'll spoiler tag them to save space. - So let's start off with the good things. In the video I watched, your video quality was awesome, and the audio was clear.
- While we can hear what you say clearly enough, I think you might want to see if there's a noise removal option on your editing software. We don't want to have to hear you clicking your mouse or typing... we want to hear the gameplay! It only happens occasionally, but it's noticeable.
- The video honestly felt more like a video walkthrough rather than an LP. By that, I mean the only time you actually said anything was when you made a mistake! Of course, the game does have a lot of voice acting and cutscenes, and it's important not to talk over them... but all you said was either repeating what the game just told you or "we failed"! I'm assuming you're playing the game blind, so you can't really talk about how the game works (Again, I'm assuming you're learning at the same rate as the game), but that doesn't mean you have nothing to talk about...
-Just a quick question... were you recording late at night? You sounded tired, maybe it's just how you speak but you almost were yawning a little there...
Regardless, you're not as bad as a lot of people out there, but you could be better! There! I kinda feel like doing this to other people too... Bleh.
Oh, and welcome. Hope you don't mind me picking on you to test this. ^^

Criticism accepted My keyboard is a bit noisy, being a clicky Razer Black Widow and there's no noise reduction on my headset I'm afraid. I freely admit I do get a bit silent when it all gets serious and I'm concentrating. I'll work on my patter on my next set of recordings although got 2 yet to upload from Crysis. Hopefully you'll like the next set more! Edit: I have played Crysis before but it's been a while, and I'm not as sharp as I used to be on FPS'. I don't record that late at night (about 8pm, for an hour, then got time to cut and encode with Virtual Dub), but I guess I'm not sounding all that clear on the recordings but I can work on it.

...there's no noise reduction on my headset I'm afraid. If you're on Windows 7, right click your Audio Settings in the toolbar, click Recording Devices, right click your mic and click "Properties", then head to "Enhancements" and see if there's a checkbox for "Noise Reduction/Removal/Etc" ^.^

Damn. Ah, well. Your headset probably doesn't support it.

Damn. Ah, well. Your headset probably doesn't support it. Neither does my Sound Chip by the look of it. Ho hum.
