My desktop has previously worked getting onto the internet, but. My laptop recently had a problem getting the internet to come to it, so i took the wireless adapter from my computer and put it into my netbook, now my computer is refusing to connect even when the internet adapter is plugged in.
Its vista, and it keeps telling me "Cannot recieve signal." even though, I obviously have a signal.
Help? D:

Since you stated that you plugged it in, then I can safely assume that it has a network card, so that isn't it. Is the network card set up to accept a wired connection, as opposed to just a wireless one? Are the drivers update? Possibly try resetting your router? (Look for a small button in a hole somewhere on the router)
